Jon Dye, chief government, Allianz Insurance coverage, has been named as the brand new chair of the Affiliation of British Insurers (ABI). He'll serve a one-year time period after which the board chair position will revert to a two-year tenure.
Dye has been on the ABI board since January 2015, chairing the ABI Audit Committee between 2016-2018. His appointment follows the resignation of Amanda Blanc earlier this month.
Dye stated: “I'm delighted to be taking over this position at such an important time for our world-leading business. Insurance coverage and long-term financial savings play an important position within the UK financial system and within the lives of the folks we assist and assist.
