Jan. 29--The stepmom of slain businessman Howard Pilmar stated the sufferer's spouse -- on trial for his homicide after 23 years -- was matter-of-fact when she known as his father in Arizona with the tragic information.
"She stated Howard was the sufferer of a murder," Carol Pilmar informed jurors on Monday on the Manhattan Supreme Courtroom trial of Roslyn Pilmar, who's accused of plotting and executing the homicide of her rich husband.
Prosecutors say Pilmar, 61, and her brother Evan Wald, 45, repeatedly stabbed Howard Pilmar inside his E. 33rd St. workplace on March 21, 1996.
